What Is the Global Talent Stream?

The Global Talent Stream (GTS) is an expedited work permit pathway designed to help Canadian employers hire highly skilled global talent in specialized and tech occupations. It provides 2-week processing for both the LMIA and the work permit.

The GTS is part of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and is managed by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) in partnership with IRCC.
